Croce di Bibbiano is an ancient farm nestled in the heart of its vineyards, olives and woods in the Chianti region, about 6 Km from San Gimgnano, 25 Km far from Siena centre and 35 Km from Florence. Croce di Bibbiano is the best start to visit San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa, Siena, Florence, and the wonderful Chianti area: its pleasant hills, the ancient picturesque villages, the numberless wine cellars and wine shops which are almost always open to all the turists coming, and most of all to experience the friendly and warm Tuscan welcoming. Our small village is right in the middle of the 30 hectares property, which includes 25 ht of vineyards - producing 250 000 bottles of wine a year - and more than 1000 olive trees producing a very tasty and high quality extravergin olive oil. Our most popular wines are of course Chianti and Vernaccia di San Gimignano, but our list also include lots of IGT wines and our special vintage wines called Super Tuscans, together with a wide range of typical products.
Croce di Bibbiano has 6 apartments inside an ancient monastery consisting in stone-made farm houses along the old Via Francigena, and they can host from 2 up to 6 people; we also offer a wide range of activities - See Our list of activities - and organise dinners and light lunches in the garden for all the guests and you can also relax in the courtyard, or in the olive groves facing the landscape and San Gimignano towers , with private tables in the courtyard or in the garden, and of course by the big swimming pool (mt 14 x 7) on a natural balcony facing an unforgettable landscape.
